It's no good waiting so long to celebrate a try.
    This happened to Canberra twice.
Yes, from an entertainment perspective I prefer the old way. NRL have become too obsessed with entertainment via continuous play. The old saying about knowing the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

      Not sure I like that.
We were celebrating Bunnys try and got ripped off.

        agree.
Once the try is awarded that should be that.

Never thought I'd say this but good on him for using some plain English and common farking sense!!!!

Too technical!!! Sums up most dud decisions against us... it's called scraping the barrel!

I thought the previous apology was for a Lindsay Collins no try on the weekend but a try on Monday at 2pm. Happened last year at home.

Was it it the second Broncos game?

V’landys is on the record as being a Saints fan and wanting to see a Raiders v Rabbitohs GF this year
                ..it’ll be interesting to see

It's happened on plenty of previous occasions since Annesley took over. Unlike the wombat before him, Annesley is happy to admit when they stuff up.

                    "Ripped off" again!
Luckily it wasn't the deciding decision in a grand final...or in a prelim to get us into a grand final...or in a final to get us into a prelim, or in a club game to get us into the finals.

Whoever was responsible for the decision must replaced by someone more competent...and retrained.

Some, many even, people obviously think so.
Which is not good for Vlandys, Abdo and the NRL.
If this keeps up people might be calling the NRL a "joke" like they were when the green man and co were running it.

Not forgetting "five tries" being sent off for a supposed chicken wing or something in the Bears game.

'Too technical'? More like too ready to click the no try button! He was halfway through the first view and he called it, yet it didn't remotely look like he'd lost it. Bit too keen there!

                          My favourite bit:

"The former referee conceded the no-try call was incorrect, saying "it should have been a try today, tomorrow, every day of the week it should have been a try."
Great work RWB, thank you very much.

I don't drink either but it didn't help in this case.

Totally agree - it looked really obvious he never lost control or contact with the ball - this guy gives it a once over and somehow sees it differently so differently that he thinks he has no reason to take a second look - no try - dickhead wanted it to be no try.

Who was it in the bunker?

You are very welcome. Like you, I am the Lone Rooster in my family so happy to help.
