The Big League was canned last year when crowds were banished. I thought they’d bring it back this year but I guess they are saving on wages.

They were looking at a digital version but nothing came of it - Like Rugby League Week gone- Printed Newspapers/Magazines wont be far behind

They used to be considered collectables. The program from a Grand Final or other significant game was a prized possession.

Back on topic, but Big League was a rubbish read.

I used to buy it religiously, but by the time I was 14 or so I realised there was absolutely nothing in it. Pages and pages of dross.

League has always suffered from a lack of quality printed analysis, but Big League was particularly poor.

Matto ran a different site, think it was RLeague.com. It pretty much died when leagueunlimited came about.
