Even when I tip them in tipping comps I hope they get beat ! ............... Fatso Crowe just intensifies the hate !
That's why I don't go in tipping comps. I cant bring myself to back against the Roosters and cant bring myself to back the Vermin . So basically no chance of winning

I hate Souffs, and for good reason.

I've seen full grown men spit on female Roosters fans, had to step in when fists are flying around kids, and had my young lad abused for wearing a Chooks jersey.
They won't try that now, he's is 6' 5" and still growing at 110kg.

I wouldn't cry a single tear if the whole club fell into a sinkhole.

I grew up loving the game and have soft spots and appreciation for great teams teams like dragons in 1980s and eels in late 70s. But it was Bunny and Beetson that won me over.

My hatred for Souffs started when they were re-admitted to the Pemiership. Not a single word of appreciation for those that supported them at their lowest. Then they start their hatred shit. It peaked under the corruption of the Burgearse and Inglarse years and has now subdued a tad. But losing last season has be going again.

So I’m on board and doing my best for supporting my team against the vermin.

I have vermin friends and have found a way to maintain friendships yet respect our differences.

The East/South rivalry was never as big as now, though it was there in the way that it is with most local derbies. What happened in recent times was that Rusty sentimentally bought in probably in the hope that he could, at least, break even and naturally he would want to maximise that prospect. He does what every sports investor does - he promotes in the age old Barnum and Bailey fashion - Book of Feuds, Maximus no mercy thumbs down etc and, no doubt, there is some fertile ground around the ill feeling about East's position when Murdoch punted them.

I thought that the Maximus thing was brilliant at the time and I get a laugh from other manifestations but I don't take it seriously in any way.

So it looks like I’m the only one who doesn’t hate Souths then.
                Go the Roosters.

Guys. I personally want nothing less than revenge for last year’s humiliation. We really need to stick it to them and chalk up a score that makes them wake up to just how many premierships they have won in the last 5 years compared to us? So what they put a big score on us. Did those losers end up with the trophy after that? A win would be nice but after last year I’m not sure what to expect.

I don't hate the Souffs Vermin I just don't like them.

Redfern Oval used to attract some strange folk back in the mid late 70's/early 80's wearing cardinal and myrtle whom i suppose attending the game was their fortnightly excursion.

But not the only ground though Cumberland Oval and Leichhardt too - not surprising what was close by.

Lidcombe oval was daunting place because of the crowds that would attend - used to go past it going to and from meetings in the city - still cant believe 20 thousand plus would cram into that ground including using the bike track for the crowd overflow.

Belmore wasn't too bad to attend - North Sydney Oval/ Brookvale/Endeavour okay - Kogarah had it's moments especially with the Neo Nazi guy outside the Fence shouting out things not many wanted to hear. - i think he was banned from Kogarah oval for assaulting a Vermin Souffs fan?.

Penrith was okay although that scoreboard had it's moments with the scores and scores from other grounds and the growling - Henson park smallish crowds and a big hill area not unlike the Sydney Sports Ground in that sense

I dont notice as much nowdays but when I was 7 or 8 & going out to Sports Ground I would always see strange looking Roosters supporters the guys that looked like they'd been given day release from the Callan Park.
When my dad, brother & I I used to walk back across Anzac parade & then into the park there was a small brick shed with an awning on it for cover & hopeless derelict old blokes p!ssed as would be camped there. Used to scare me when I was young.

Wheres Snapn1 in all this? Pretty sure they put up a post a while back about souffs, cant handle them cant handle the phonechucker and the thumbs down etc. Cracked me up good.

And stuff souffs. The butcher I frequent has a souffs lady working there. We get on pretty good, but she has said she has to hate the Roosters just because she supports the scum. Fair enough.

Although it was funny the other day when we were reminiscing about our area (The Tweed) and she mentioned where a certain courthouse used to be. The owner of the butchery chimed in and said she must have spent some time there lol.

I said she probably was a sight walking around out the front with her souffs jersey on hahaha.

I get your point of few. If you take Souffs out of the equation things are a lot more boring. I love hating them but I'm glad they exist. I used to be more of a fan of the game in general but not so much these days.

I am so looking forward to this game. Roosters v Souths both powerhouse clubs.
There is no other team that I look more forward to the Roosters playing then a strong Souths Sydney.
When the Chooks win a tight aggressive rough dirty game against Souths it just lifts me.

I think of the word disdain when thinking of lol@souffs as a club it’s team and supporters since the John Sattler era. Sattler holds the records for most send me offs !

i look forward to every roosters game whether or not it's v souths. i liked playing them in the late 90s cos you knew it was an easy 2pts but i like beating them more now cos they're a better team. the 2018 prelim was one of our most enjoyable victories and it had a bit to do with beating souths but more to do with breaking a 3 game prelim losing streak and making a gf. plus it was a full house, the last game at the sfs, etc.
