He wont be missed because he hasnt played for nearly a year compared to if he was playing every week. Still a 50-50 game.

It is a shame, but not the end of the world. It isn't too much of a disruption, which is the main thing. We want to make sure that he returns fully fit with maximum impact.

The Roosters twitter feed had a brief video of the captains run and Radley looked to be moving really well.

No that was this week / Crichton will also be a late withdrawal- he busted his left leg at training but don’t worry he deems it an unnecessary appendage so has had it removed yesterday as it will be a quicker return to footy that way and will be back next week.

I'm looking forward to our first tough game of the season. It's a pity we can't have rads available but I think the good news is that Robbo's confident enough that players like Hutcho, Lussick and Fifita can do the job!

IMO we're constantly growing in character. To me the fact we're a chance without Cords, Friend and Radley available says a lot. It's a certainty that we'd belt Souffs if you removed Cook, Murray and Arrow from their squad. And yet, no excuses are being made on our side.

Why? Well... we have the better team and culture! If we play properly, Souffs are not a comparable team. But we knew that already.

i wonder if anybody actually thinks these games he plays work? Just seems annoying to me, saying yes he may play, has the same affect as saying he will play, but doesn’t make you come across as being sly or deceptive.

it's possible that rads was going to play but only ruled out yesterday cos of his shoulder. maybe the only game being played is the one tonight.
but i like that we keep our cards close to our chest. one of my (very) minor criticisms of robbo' earlier pressers was that he was too honest. why tell the opps more than we have to?
