- Verrills will be back (utility)

On top of the lopsided count , he is giving penalties against us , for every indescretion.
He has somehow missed a few highshots - on Lam & Tedseco obvious ones.
But what did you expect.
BTW, an ordinary performance by us.

Its their weakness- you'll see it later this season when teams with big forwards like the Knights towel them up.

Well, if you believe in omens, the Rabbits beat us in 2018 and 2019 in our first match-up, with score lines of 14-26 and 16-26.
Both years we went on to win the comp.

That was a horrible loss , we weren't in the game from the outset and Souths deserved the win and totally dominated us.
Our forwards got smashed and didn't aim up and we were hesitant and played sideways in the backs.
Our right edge defence with Sitilli and Manu is atrocious. Everytime sitilli is caught at marker or A defender we open up like a can of worms, he just doesn't work hard enough on 2nd efforts in defence.
So disappointed in our effort tonight and some of our players are looking like the glory days of back to back premierships are a distant memory.

I have been supporting Easts for over 50 years. It certainly wasn't our worst night. We lost by ten points, to a side that totally shut down the attack of our right side backrowers with monstrous defence.

Souffs Vermin put the cue in the rack i would say and it was a try on full time to make it 16- Baker didn't play at all
