  • Would have accepted the loss

Went to the game. Sat next to typical braindead South’s fans the entirety. Keary’s injury was shattering to see. I was saying to a mate I would have accepted the loss (despite it still sucking) and put it down to a bad day at the office. In fact, I would have rather got pummeled by 30/40+ if that meant Keary didn’t do his ACL. Unfortunately Keary’s injury killed that theory and I don’t think I’ve felt worse. Wake me up from this nightmare...can we take any positives from tonight other than Walker/Suaalli will get to be blooded early?

My only positive was Lindsay Collins performance. I hope he is Ok.

8 day turnaround for Collins so he maybe a chance to play? - not sure why Baker didn't get any game time though- a waste of a reserve especially as SST was limping the last 15 or so minutes.

I doubt it, Collins didn’t look good on the field. Looked like he had a bit of a fit or a seizure whilst on the ground and they took to hospital by ambulance (for monitoring purposes supposedly). Not great signs, I’d like it if the big fella got a rest next week.

Here’s to hoping he’s ok. Was great tonight.

8 day turnaround - I think Collins should pass the concussion protocols with how they say he bounced back in the sheds although I think the roosters precautionary approach to concussions will choose to sit him out for a week. With no ongoing symptoms (depending on how he goes) I would say he will miss only one game.

And here I was worrying that Jared would hit an opposition player with his elbow and would either cost the team a penalty, send off and suspension. Instead he takes out our best player who took Jared’s spot in the team which now will go back to him because Collins will be out for at least 1 week or maybe more cause if I’m not wrong, this is his second concussion. The last one was against the Storm in Brisbane.

Jared was a danger to us more than the opposition. I wonder if Robbo has lost control of him because I doubt that JWHs instructions are to be that wild.

Sort of a double edged sword with JWH.
His aggression cost us dearly but without his presence in the middle I think they win by more
