  • Atmosphere tonight

Despite that heartbreaking few hours with the performance we put in and the injuries to come out of it - I just wanted to applaud our atmosphere tonight from the chookpen. Plenty of fights and shit going on in the crowds, but our chants were dominant and took over ANZ. Don't think I heard a single chant out of those scums. Just want to also give my appreciation to the drummers in the chookpen who actually create the chants - awesome passion by the lads (not sure if they are on this forum or not) but anyway we are blessed to have them. Just wish we could have performed better tonight

Yes but the two fights were like they were on the footy field. Looks of shouting and a bit of pushing.

I strongly disagree. It was quiet and boring. Not even the Souths fans were cheering.

Felt like it was a 70/30 split, very disappointing turn out for a rivalry. Souths fans very quiet and a lot of empty available seats around the ground.

Never feels right to me that Roosters & Souths play out of Homebush. No atmosphere at that ground inside or out so it loses the impact of a local rivalry immediately and just has more of a 'big game' type vibe.

I only go to Homebush for the grand final or Origin but apart from that it's got no atmosphere.

It’s got no atmosphere because everyone feels that way. If everyone went , it would have great atmosphere
                  ..it’ll be interesting to see

Agree kudos to the guys leading the chants etc. Felt more like an Easts homey than Souths, but I guess I was sitting in the GA opposition section.

On crowd entertainment etc...how piss weak of Crowe to can the Cheerleaders. Have to watch six dorks run around waving flags to celebrate their tries. No idea tubby.
