If we are to pull off the miracle and go deep into the finals from here then Robbo needs to go the Hail Mary play, which is a Manu/Walker pairing with Rads acting as another half and Suaalii at centre.
We won't win a damn thing with Hutch at 5/8. He tries hard and gives everything to the cause, but it's just the reality of the situation.
Im saying the same but I would go with Ikavalu in the centres but if your talkin Hail Marys then yer go with Suaalii..

What is D.utch to us?
does robbo see something in him as a play maker that we do not?
is robbo that desperate for Maubs 2.0?
As mentioned before, Dutch tried his hardest.... but that's all he'll most likely amount to.
The kid couldn't even make a name for himself at St Merge and they've done absolutely nothing in 11yrs.

So, according to the paper today " baby face Sam Walker" will be our saviour next Sunday.
and beyond.
No pressure.
Not if we don't change things he won't. He'll last one game.
"How to beat the Tigers...run big players at Brooks all night".
"How to beat the Roosters...run big players at Walker all night."
We'll have to try to hide Walker on the wing in defence.
Jake was knocked out trying to tackle a Manly giant.
Warriors are full of giants.Last edited by bondi.boy; 03-28-2021, 08:46 AM.

I think Sam Walker will be asked to step up. Formally I’d say Hutch would be the best option for the other half spot but without Verrills, Friend or Keighran available to back up Lussick I think they’ll leave him on the bench to cover that role and the halves if it’s not working out. I don’t think we can afford to bring on Radley at 9. We need his distribution and carries in the middle more than ever. Also, not sure Suaalii gets thrown in just yet.
Tedesco
Tupou
J Morris
B Morris
Ikavalu
Manu
Walker
Liu
Lussick
Taukeahio
Crichton
Tupouniua
Butcher
Hutchison
Waerea-Hargreaves
Radley
Baker

What if Lattrell gets injured again? A lot can happen in a season. Plenty of water to flow under the bridge yet.
Easts are winners and we can play the long game. They dont hand out trophies in March. Well maybe Charity Shields which seem about your limit.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

I want Manu at 5/8 Trent! Manu Clearly wants the ball more than being in the centres! Suallii at centre next to brett makes sense.
Manu is 1000× better player than Lam an walker is the same mold of keary so i think our team will make a massive positive improvement out of a massive loss!
Manu has hinted already to play fullback because he wants more ball i think he will be a better 5/8 utilising his defence an running game being 6,4ft

lammy might be back in four weeks and he's still an option for 5/8. the jury's still out on him and it's possible him and walker are our best option in the halves. with keary out, lam might benefit from the added responsibility.
not sure what that means for this week's team other than what we want to do this week is pick the team that is most capable of winning this week's game, regardless of what happens later in the season. don't know the answer to that but, if picked, hutch, will give his all. still, if we think suaalii is ready to face the big boys, then joey might go into 5/8. if that's the case, i'd pick suaalii on the bench, and start with hutch and walker in the halves, and bring suaalii on later.
