One of the very few occassions where i felt proud after a loss. That game was character building for the club.

The team that has to defend 6 agains are not getting even a slight relief for the body to even rest momentarily and recharge. Also with exhaustion errors occur mentally and that can lead to more injuries when players stretch or reach the wrong way, Hamstrings , ACLs. Not to mention being able to make better choices when tackling to avoid injuring other players with high tackles. It’s a mad scramble without thought or technique coming into play because of exhaustion. Like you said though.Things won’t probably change because Vlandys wants a fast entertaining game no matter what the cost to player welfare.
I agree with this. Good analysis.

Also Whats this obsession with making the game faster? When did fast equate to exciting footy for the fans????
It equates to stopping the Roosters and Storm dominance. I truly believe this is what the obsession with speeding the game up is all about.

I'm sure there were a few threads on the Wall calling for Albert Talipeau to replace Simon Bonetti at hooker

I remember him. I am pretty sure that I also remember his rather passionate and exuberant mum watching in the grandstand of the SFS when Albert was playing in Jersey Flegg or reserve grade. She was rather vocal! Entertaining. LOL
                      MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

The days of tackling around the legs is a dying art form - coaches don't like it as the ball carrier when tackled around the legs can get up and play the ball quicker than in the one above when 3 defenders are wresting and stretching the ball carrier in all directions.

My passion for the game is dwindling as a result of this and i am not alone in not liking how the game is played - agree 100% with Sterlo on this

Especially when they suspend players for this tackle.
2 games! Can you believe it?

How do you think the game will turn out being?
Touch, grab 1-2-3, video game virtual reality?
Kyle Feldt is placed on report for a lifting tackle on Dragons centre Jack Bird during the first half in Townsville
                        ..it’ll be interesting to see

And how did that turn out for them? Take a look a who is defending their premiership. The strom still get lofty treatment a la kaufusi suspension or lack thereof.

Make no mistake it's just to stop us, show me a game where the strom cop lopsided penalty counts and receive one penalty in the last minute of the game.

Look I'll agree we sucked from the first whistle on Friday, but it wasn't long before clown put the knife in.

With the opposition being close in some teams we play, any lopsidedness in officiating hits hard. Even if it's just a difference in policing the 10 metres. It's super tough to see the 10 metres on the telly.

Those 4 games against the 6agains and the strom last year were all marred with controversy and double standards.

I believe we are and have been held back in order to accommodate other fans so they don't jump off a bridge because of the Roosters success.

So healthy for the league with its everybody gets a trophy day.
