I love you James Tedesco. You are a gun. A Roosters legend in the making.

But I hate watching you being first pass off the ruck where a prop should be. No one knows what you're doing as you zig, zag and jink in and out of the line, players try to run lines off you to no avail and it just ends up looking like a bunch of lads at a 4am rave trying to show off their new dance moves. Nothing ever comes of it, in fact I think it breaks down the momentum in the set a lot times as you submit in a fairly non eventful tackle.

I love you supporting in and around the ruck, playing off Radley or the dummy half when he goes for a scoot but not as the first pass of the ruck like a prop forward.

    Has it ever worked?

I actually really like it. Adds another dimension to the attack.

Agree, bench him and let hutch and the kid shine instead.

Problems are is too young hookers and too young halves so Teddy has to lift!

        I LOVE IT!!

when verills, Keighran , collins and Boyd come back Teddy will probably decrease multi role's and be more electric with more energy concentrating on fullback meaning more tackle breaks more try/try assisting etc!
Teddy is going to be super fit if he isn't fit already playing multiple role's!
At the back end teams wont know our game plans because we will be able to switch it up or down to close out games!

I agree. It's what makes Teddy the best player in the world. The more the ball is in his hands the better we become, especially with Keary out I want to see this continue.

I agree...Said it last night that he cost us a possible 12 points with the obstructions and then not passing for the supporting player. We have other players that can create scoring opportunities but when Teddy gets in as second receiver and goes left, then right then left again, the other players aren't sure where he's going and end up getting in the way. He's already been penalised once before last night for running behind a player. Is the captaincy affecting his leadership and feels that he always has to be with the ball, or is he just wanting to ensure he stays one step ahead of other fullbacks performing well?

All I would say to Teddy is to ease up and use the energy wisely. Let the other players have their bit. We cannot afford to have him going down like Luke because he's overworking himself.

He is a leader and with the other 3 captains not playing I think he is trying to do too much. He is trying to create opportunities and finish off these opportunities as well. He is the everywhere man. I think once he gains more confidence in the new halves he will let them take over the first receiver role.

Btw wo exactly was "obstructed" when Angus scored?

I thought they changed the interpretation to allowing such manoeuvres if no defender was impeded.

I think Teddy will ease off a little once our halves are a little more established and Radley gets more game time..

Exactly. Everyone saw him run around our player, including the referee. He saw it and correctly ruled nobody was impeded. The hilarious part is that the replay the bunker used to disallow Angus' try only served to more clearly demonstrate no defender was impeded.

                      Agree.

I Know he sniffs around tiring forwards but i like it when we maintain our shape and he is the option out the back

Teddy is obviously trying to get as many possessions a game while our halves are weakened or not up to speed with our playing style.

                        I commend him for it.

While it leaves our attack sometimes looking all over the place, I can't imagine it would be any worse than Hutchinson getting it to try and create something.

The obstruction was all on Freddy Lussick’s poor game awareness. He stood in the defensive line, like a statue with his hands in the air. All he had to do was walk or jog through the line and there would be no possible obstruction.

I think the Warriors player milked it a bit too as Tedesco was running across the field - the Warriors player still had an opportunity to be involved in defence.

It created an instruction. Whether a defending player was impeded or not doesn't have an affect on the rule.
