  • East Leagues

    Hi all,

Looking to take some friends to Easts Leagues Club to watch the Storm game. It'll be my first time there.

    Are there any entry/membership requirements?

    Thanks!

As per the most recent update from the NSW Government, all visitors will be required to scan a unique QR code using the camera function on your smartphone before you enter. We recommend downloading the Service NSW app prior to your visit.

There will be other COVID rules to abide by also -social distancing temperature checks possibly / hygiene requirements etc

You and your friends will need ID for entry - if you live more than 5kms away you can sign in as a guest(temporary member) if not you will more than likely be required to join - 1 year membership $7.

If your a Sydney Roosters member though see below

Sydney Roosters Members aged 18 and older are eligible to receive a complimentary 1-year Easts Membership. Applications can be made online or in person, however, a Roosters Member must attend provide photo ID to receive their Easts Membership card. The complimentary Easts Membership adds value to the Sydney Roosters Membership by offering a range of benefits including Member exclusive prices on food and beverage.

Don’t go is my advice. Place is a depressing hole. Full of geriatrics and poker machines.

I’ve heard they renovated some of the bars at Easts recently, has anyone been since they re-opened?

Very true King but someone was asking what’s is like there and I gave my opinion that it’s an absolute shit hole. They’d be better off watching from a nursing home on a tiny screen while drinking warm beer.

I support the club in many ways but I won’t support them by going there.

Takes a bit more than a few photos of Arthur Beetson to impress me.

You can feel the ghost of Artie, Dally, Dave Brown and Ron Jones there.

And after a few drinks you’ll see Elvis too.

I walked past there a few weeks ago for the first time in ages. Why does it still smell like carpet cleaner in the laneway?
