It made decent coin pre-covid and will again though with over 40 thousand members so it must doing something right to attract members and their guests.
The Waverley Bowling development got the go ahead though.
I think originally there was to be another Roosters club on that site - but I heard a bunch of Souffs Vermin supporters petitioned Waverley council to reject the application on the basis that they don't have a club so why should the Chooks be allowed to have 2 in Sydney.
They should have went head with the Harrington Park development - Club and sporting fields etc - instead they sold the land to Bunnings?

Join us this Friday night (16 April) for the huge clash between the Melbourne Storm and Sydney Roosters.
This is a match not to be missed between the best two teams of the last decade. Catch all the action LIVE & LOUD on the BIG SCREENS throughout Artie’s and the Bondi Room, with TWO LIVE NRL games from 6pm.
Enjoy ‘Friday Crafternoons’ with $6 schooners of 4 Pines, Balter and Pirate Life between 4 – 6pm. Grab a bite to eat from our special Game Day Menu!
And if that’s not enough, enjoy live music with Dexter at half time and immediately following the Roosters match.
So grab your friends and family and head to easts, home of the Sydney Roosters!

In defense of the Leagues club, I remember when the club was located above the Millers Hotel on Oxford St, that was a long time ago and it was minuscule. As I'm one of the old fart geriatrics you so eloquently rubbish, I am proud of our great club. It obviously won't match Penrith Panthers or Souths juniors for that matter, but it's my club and my footy team and I love the lot. As did my Dad and Grandad.
