May be a ploy to stop cuz Henry hating on us?
I don't suppose Ashley Klown or Ben Cummins have any relatives we can sign?

I've never got that vibe. Maybe being an ex Rooster he might be trying to overcompensate lest he looks biased. Same with Luke Phillips (if he did keep refereeing) - I would never have wanted him to ref us.

I've always thought that a Rugby half clearing the ruck with their passes and bringing runners onto the ball were similar to a league dummy half whilst a Rugby 5/8 had attributes linked to a league halfback.
I'll agree it's a big risk but we have gone through our 3rd string hooker and onto our 4th and it's hurting our play. I've hardly seen a dummy half run this year of any substance and they haven't engaged the markers at all with any sleight of hand which is allowing the defence to rush up on our ball runners. Defensively they both have looked undersized and struggled with getting players to the ground.

            Never played league...is a worry.

            I would rather have Hutch.
            Spot on
Japanese rugby is complete shit. Definitely not a launchpad to the NRL. Rather put games into
a kid and wait to get verrills and Lam back to give a bit more depth.

The dude is a champion All Black. I find it hard to believe he couldn't get a gig somewhere in Japan. He is only 29. I have to admit I have not seen him though.

Would be easier to sign a Sutton.

                    Apologies. You're correct.
just googled him. A real journeyman. Never played for us. He did win the Roope Rooster in the Auckland comp.
                    Whatever the hell that is.

I think his All Black days are over and maybe looking for a challenge i assume - I don't see the Chooks signing him though - but you never know.

                          correction bro:

Scrum half is a number 9 in rugby is basically a hooker an a fly half is a number 10 basically a 5/8

                          Meaning he is a forward

Some people here obviously don't watch All Blacks!

New zealand desperately don't want him to leave but understand his desire to chance it in NRL living his mate SBW!

He leaves a MASSIVE whole in NEW ZEALAND rugby

Best hooker you will ever see play League trust me

                                This!!

The guy is a wonderful footballer. He would adapt beautifully to hooker in the NRL. He has a sublime passing game and is a strong defender who is very willing to put his body on the line.

                                I sincerely hope this happens.
