What is this pricks problem? They were just having a little preview of our game coming up tonight and the panel all agreed on the fact of how dominant the two sides have been in the last decade until this fool adding “ they are the two best sides of the last decade definitely, there’s one team with all the shiny toys who I like to call the roosters then there’s the other team who are the best coached organisation in the comp and so professional who are the storm“. WTF is that supposed to mean? Shiny toys? Wasn’t the other team caught being over the cap and cheating with all their “ shiny toys”? Sorry for the overreaction but every time I hear this bald headed flop speak about us it is always negative or a little snide remark or maybe I should ease up on the beers hahaha

Don't be hard on yourself. I'm stone cold sober and what you just posted about his comments annoyed me too. I keep saying that every year when they do the annual players' survey, the Roosters are the club other players want to come to. Try not to let it bother you or ruin your evening. I don't watch any panel shows or read anything except official emails from the club and what they post on Linkedin and Instagram, plus our very own Roosters family of experts on here.Originally posted by ChookMaster View Post
I know it's supposed to be meant in jest but there are many professional people working at Easts, some have devoted their whole careers to the club and others volunteer by helping young players when they come from the country so they have family support down here too. That's how I got to know Jake from such a young age. There was the lovely family who lived near the Waverley Library who had up to 5 players at any given time living there with them. We don't need endorsement from the likes of Tallis to validate the professionalism of the Roosters.
Enjoy the game and don't let negativity get you down. Tall poppy syndrome is still alive and well.
