Storm and Panthers played in the first Grand Final of the New World NRL.
And both sides went through the year with no major injuries. Just like us in 2018/19.

We were on fire last yer after the COVID break before we got cursed by injuries.

      Time for him to play.
Butcher is safe, doesn't make any (or many) mistakes. He's like Hutch, he's in the squad of 30.
A safe lock is good to have. Butch must be kept.
      Who wants safe?

Don't you want players the opposition fear?

        Spot on mate!

I have no doubt if we had no major injuries last year we would’ve atleast made the GF again..

Not sure what game people were watching as incomplete sets (44% possession and 70% completion rate) and missed tackles (51) lost the game- playing x y z in a certain position was not the reason - Injuries played it's part as well with SST/JWH impact missed. The sin binning didn't help either although it didn't cost them so much on the scoreboard it did have an affect on adding to the fatigue factor in the second half.

The thing that worries me and i have mentioned this before is the selection of the bench.

For the life of me I can't figure why Keighran would be on the bench especially against the Storm when he hadn't played for 5 week when they have Baker fresh as to be in the 17 instead - Keighran is not s second DH for starters - Radley and Butch could fill in when Benny M went off - Benny M played 67 minutes in any case 48 tackles and 5 missed tackles and played as well as anyone for someone not even in the NRL squad.

It's round 6 so they have a lot to work on in attack / defence and gelling combinations. - Only Keary wont be back this year and of Course Friend retired - so they just have to keep putting themselves in the conversation for finals footy by winning enough games as the cavalry returns - It's not the Little Big horn yet.
