  • Did our players take stupid pills?

Forward passes and knock-ons from dummy half. Not finding touch with our only penalty in the first half. Brain dead offloads and drop balls. WTF is going on?

Melb should have won that by a thousand so our defence was pretty good all things considered.

If if we had a recognized hooker, we would be very close to winning tonight.

We were in it until half time. SST and JWH out for the second half was always going to make it hard. The boys did well after being gassed from the first half errors.

A brand new 6, 7 & 9 who have never played together before. One who was in the Ron Massey cup a few weeks ago. Pretty obvious.

Can you pass some off those stupid pills around I need something to make me forget tonight.

Yep, they played stupidly tonight which was compounded by the injuries to SST and JWH. I look forward to seeing them play less stupidly on Anzac Day.

Because a team with so many injuries meaning 3rd to 5th stringers have to play means we'd play stupid

nope, all the critics mean they have to play like the first half of the 18 gf.

ppl are being way harsh on a brave , if somewhat limited performance.

Exactly, the players showed so much heart despite everything happening out there, a 2018 GF performance was a culmination of alot of things and you can never consistently put out performances like those on a week to week basis.

Even my Broncos loving sister who lives in Melbourne said she had to turn it off as she said the Roosters normally don't play like that at all. I watched The Mighty Ducks Game Changers and went to bed early .

At least my horse Selino won the Sydney Cup. I had predicted this one back in January..

Our injuries are one problem, but those things can’t be helped, the officiating is absolutely diabolical I just couldn’t watch the game anymore, but the most frustrating thing is the inconsistency of our performances week to week (part of the problem is the chopping and changing) all things considered, we blow all the cannon fodder teams out of the water even based on last nights performance, then we put in our two worst performances against genuine premiership contenders, that shits our fans the most.

We showed a lot of heart last night to stay in for the majority of the match, defensive attitude was unquestionable, however, unless we get a little bit of luck on the injury front and a fair shake with the officials and improve our ill discipline with ball in hand we’re no hope of threatening this year.

The challenge this year is putting in a complete performance against a worthy opponent, so we can take the match out of the dickhead officials hands.

Warms the cockles of my heart that we enter these games against fair opposition with a handicap. Kinda like the reverse of 2014 souffs who started each match with 4 penalties up on average.

That challenge will apply every season. Its a foregone and unproven conclusion that we cheat the cap. The b2b has us in premiership prison.

Yep. We were minor premiers (just washed that T-shirt now ) yet they were granted 83 more penalties than us that year.

I've been going for really really really long walks around Dover Heights and Vaucluse in mine to let off steam and I didn't even watch the game..

If you live in those areas you could pay someone to do the walk for you
