    Now now..don't generalise..

I've lost 22 kilos..most of it I think is from the stress of watching our beloved Roosters..I do sure blame them for my hair going grey sometimes too..

How do you kick someone in the head and not get sent off?

I wish one of our guys would have kicked Muster in the head.

You do realise that people in those areas do have mortgages? They don't live for free and they work their arses off to pay their mortgages. Plus they contribute more in tax than most other people.

I'd be surprised if the Eastern Suburbs wasn't the hardest working area in the country.

Marschke didn't knock on from DH btw. That was a phantom knock on that Gee conjured up. Interestingly when Hughes blatantly knocked on with his strip, Gee miraculously couldn't see that.

But I take your point. We were disastrous with ball in hand in the 1st half. A 47% completion rate. That we didn't concede a try against the Storm & Gee under manned and under these circumstances is a testament to our defence and brings comfort in the knowledge that Robbo's Bondi Wall Roosters culture is alive and well.

It's just somewhat disguised by our catastrophic injury toll.

So yes, a dumb footy team. But a damn gutsy footy team, still.

Agreed. When I used to commute, I'd be on a packed bus by 6.09am or on the first ferry out of Rose Bay at 6.39am which would be very packed, not just with tradies. The bank just extended my contract AGAIN and one of the project managers who is a Roosters fan and moving to a more high profile role said "Gimme your resume, I'm taking you with me. You are the hardest working Rooster I know!" My poor boss up in Brisbane said "Are you being POACHED?" I said "YES! WE ARE ROOSTERS! WE POACH NOT RECRUIT!" .

I think that's why I love following the Roosters so much. Trent Robinson is polished and professional. Nick has set the bar high for the club as a well run organisation and this really has nothing to do with money. It comes from having that immigrant background work ethic which many of us can relate to. When I closed my shop in Charing Cross and went to live in Melbourne for a year with my family, the first thing I did was join a not for profit womens' organisation as a volunteer. I kept showing up every day early, before the CEO even, and she eventually gave me a set of keys and said "Let yourself in. We trust you to get started on the day's activities'. When I hear stories of how Rads, Teddy and Luke go off and do extra training in their own time, for the sheer love of it, I know I follow the right club. I don't have any lazy people in my family or social circle either. The guys in my apartment block who follow us are both up at the crack of dawn for their respective jobs too as they both have mortgages.

Our kicking went alot better when Walker was kicking but Hutchinson needs to go hooker when there was no forward passes out of dummy when he was playing there! But i hear verills might be back so maybe 14 an Hutchinson 9 moving forward

Oh thank you but part was due to illness, not just exercise. I do keep an eye out for you and the boys (they must be taller than me now!) and I'm still the only woman walking around with a Freddy's 5,000 T-shirt from 2008 . I can hear my mother saying "cleaning rag box for that one!" .

I'm going to show Andy Walker around the area too as he lives close by now and Archies is where I often take my friends these days so we might see you for sure. The last time I saw you was at the airport in November 2019 when I was heading to the Gold Coast for my auntie's 90th birthday. Who knew that just a few months later, something like that would become a rarity.
