Also we all near some sort of cheering up - when looking up about the Marshke twins there was an article from ‘Sydney News Today’ about Ben Marshke’ rise from Bears signed player, to playing first grade for the chooks. Here is some one of the best misquotes I’ve seen for a while haha:

“A month and a half ago, Jake (friend), Sam Beryls, was ready to come back, with Freddie Rusic and Adam Kaylan,” Robinson said.”

    https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/sydn...rl/140245/amp/

also mentions the bulldogs new feeder club, the ‘Mountaines’

Note: after looking more into this ‘news’ website not sure if the person writing it has some learning difficulties or is not great at English (maybe even AI?) as there are misquotes and mistakes everywhere. However they are very on top of the news and quick with their articles despite their mistakes - haha good on them. Just love the names of our players

17 J.Marshke (not much to be excited about but cool two sets of identical twins playing in the same first grade team -when’s the last time that happened - knowing me not that long ago and I’m forgetting it. reserves (getting difficult)
      18 Ikuvalu
      19 Hau Tapua
      20 Suaalii
21 Bailey/C Thomas/Ralph from bears as an exemption OR the flegg or SG Ball number 9

Don’t think Trent is going to mix up the team too much from what they usually play so don’t expect manu at 5/8 (or even hooker)

      Hang in there Rooster fans
Got confirmation via Twitter from Middo - there has never been two sets of identical twins play first grade for the same team

So maybe we can make some history in 2021 after all

"Siua broke a rib in a really bad spot so it was dangerous for him to continue playing and then Jared hurt his shoulder on his first carry and couldn't get any strength in it at all, so as soon as he went back out there I had to make the change after about three or four minutes," Robinson said.

He is hopeful of regaining star winger Brett Morris for the Roosters' Anzac Day clash with the Dragons, after the veteran was a late withdrawal against the Storm due to calf tightness, and said that Verrills was a good chance to return next week from his ACL injury.

They were really good together when they played on the same side for The Bulldogs.
And plus it could confuse teams seeing double.
Why don’t we swap all our players to the opposite side they normally play on. That would be fun.

Agreed, 2020 was a terrible year for long term injuries and it seemed we were patching up positions the whole year.
