I remember about 5 years ago there was a Herald article with Mini talking about how he just wanted to break Rickos games record and he would play until he did it.

he promptly fkd his back and spent the next 3 years in hospital.

Now he is talking 250 by the end of this year. I predict he wont make it to 240.

Well that's a bone of contention. Mini will never be what he was 8 years ago - but he is a one club long time rooster. He has achieved amazing things for this club. He wants to keep playing. What do we do? Who do we have at our disposal in our player ranks at the moment who would spank it at fullback to justify telling Mini to piss off? Add to the debate the very real fact that we do not have a realistic chance of winning the premiership this year. I mean, I love Anasta as a player, leader, tough competitor too. But do I wish Carney was still our 5/8, and that he didn't give the club no option but to sack him? Of course i do.

Just my opinion. And you never know, Mini might just surprise with his form this year. He looks amazingly ripped.
