His best game was last week. He looked like a winger when he scored that try.

Butcher offers nothing in attack. He's easy meat for the opposition. He's strong defensively but that's only half of the game. If his brother is just as useless I wouldn't want him anywhere near our side.

Manu is lazier than Latrell. Just doesn't want the ball. Doesn't want to get involved. Never goes looking for the ball. Where were his dummy half runs last night? Rated the best centre in the game last year by his peers. Just one big disappointment I reckon.
You are always hard on Butcher. I agree he is not top line at this stage and has stagnated but he is a solid squad player and Robbo obviously rates him. I think Stili is in the same boat he has not got involved enough and taken the next step. On Friday the stats were
        butch 7 runs 62m 26 tackles
        Stili 6 runs 65m 35 tackles 3 off loads
        Rads 11 runs 86m 42 tackles
clearly rads and butch played less minutes. I agree butch has lost the off lid but he is still holding his own and he alone is not the reason we are struggling.

Manu - totally agree. God knows what’s going on with him, not involved, being out muscled and crab running. Playing poorly. I don’t see how a move to 5/8 is going to work. No kicking game and no idea at the moment.

I've always thought he would be better suited on an edge with his offloading ability and hard running with good footwork. There's more chance of having a rest and recuperating as a backrower rather than playing in the middle where he goes like a bull at a gate and gets too wound up.
I know he's as mad as a cut snake and been in plenty of trouble but you don't want him to lose his aggression just learn to control it.
I think he would bring plenty of assets that we need and the Broncos have made plenty of their other young stars priority signings.
Would also allow us to put sitilli back on the bench to come on in the middle in spurts where I think he's more effective and his defence isn't as exposed out wide.

I understand about Manu but he is better than Hutchinson an faster tha Hutchinson PLUS we have a gun centre in suallii ready!
small change in my eye's an massive gain as in player for player changers, manu dont have to kick , be a big draw an pass guy and run! Walker kicks

Butcher always finds his front which is a massive thing.

TPJ can piss off, I would not take anyone that had played at the Broncos in the last 3 years/ Nothing but damaged goods

Had the opportunity to sign him last year and the club wisely said no.

Defence is rubbish, attitude sucks and he'll be 26 next year. For a project player he doesn't tick alot of the boxes you would want to see.

How can you say Suallii is a gun anything until he plays against men . He may well be but like Sam we should wait and see

Was probably best on field for us in that second half, single handedly stopped it from being a blow out.

He's shown some better signs in contact this year which is really promising at 23 it shows that he may be coming along well but again has had to be used in multiple positions this year due to injuries so not getting a consistent run.

Robbo sees enough in him to continue to persist with him so I'll back Robbo. Typically great defensive players get a bad wrap on here when things aren't going so good. Let's not pretend we didn't read through these exact same threads about Jake Friend and Mitchell Aubusson over the last decade only for both to retire club legends in the past 6 months.
Yeah very promising. Averaging 2.6m per carry as opposed to 2.5m in 2020.

As for Manu, gets caught out too often in defence. His reads are terrible at times. Couldn't read a picture book.

I would rather 2.6m and find the front getting a quick play the ball than 10m and being turned and dominated in the ruck

Who's averaging 2.6m per carry? Where did you pull that from?

It was a joke although it wouldn't be that far offf.

You think he's getting quick play the balls?

I was a big fan in 2016 but he just hasn't come on as a first grader in my opinion.

Pangai jnr hits hard in defence and we have given 2nd chances to plenty of players with chequered histories like Fergo and Tets who have become success stories and 26 is not old in fact I'd say a player is entering their prime.
Butcher isn't an edge backrower he is a bench player who plugs the middle at best and sitill's defence and 2nd efforts from marker and A defender are poor.
