Danny Levi has signed with the Broncos for the remainder of 2021.
I'm not saying the Roosters should look at every single player on the fringe of first grade but we are one decent back up hooker short (as everyone here knows and spoken about several times). I guess we do like to think outside the box and hence why there are talks of the Roosters talking with "TJ Perenara" but Levi would've been a good option and if we got him for less than $250k, he would've been a good back up for Verrills or even start and have Verrills come off the bench and ease back into the game. We need a good rotating combination for the full 80mins... maybe once Lam comes back into the halves then Hutch or Keighran would take that role and rotate in but a specialist hooker would've been great to have handy. Since last weeks game against the Melbourne Cap Cheats... the way Smith and Grant played and rotated made me think that we really need that similar style of play...both had an impact when they were on.
Ben Marschke is solid and Lussick is out hurt and they are good but we are really getting close to the bottom of the barell.
Thoughts ? Would Danny have been a good buy and fit or pass ?
