  • Adam Keighran - UPDATE ?

Does anyone know as to why Adam Keighran wasn’t picked in the 17 for this round’s line up against the Drags ? He’s not included in the 21 man line-up either and there has been no word/news regarding a new injury or if his wrist issue flared up again against the Storm.

Roosters website earlier in the week said, “Lindsay Collins and Adam Keighran made successful returns from their respective injuries.

So yeah … just wondering … has he been dropped due to form or requires more training or is there something else ?

Yeah Robbo called me last night and gave me all the details. He said not to tell you though.

He hasn’t been dropped as he hasn’t been named for the bears either

Yeah unless he has been dropped but they don’t want to risk injury? But you’d think if he was dropped he needs to prove or improve form in reserves? Is weird.

            Maybe family reasons? Who knows

Yes, perhaps he is on some personal leave. Nevertheless, you still think we would have heard something along those lines. You can be discreet about those things without going into complete secrecy.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Looked to pick up and head/facial injury to me as the trainer was with him and then he came off - so not a successful return from injury one would say - Chooks site is run from North Korea - only told what you need to know Comrades

In team news, Brett Morris will return on the wing from a calf strain, replacing Matt Ikuvalu, while Sam Verrills is due to play his first NRL game since rupturing his ACL in Round 7 last year, ironically against the Dragons.

His inclusion pushes rookie Ben Marschke to the bench, while Adam Keighran drops out of the side due to a fractured eye socket.

                      Recovery times
usually vary from 4-10 weeks depending if surgery is required.

Geez, we can’t take a trick. Nor can Keighran it seems

jeez how unlucky can he get. How many minutes has he played, 30 or 40? and hes had a dislocated wrist and a fractured eye socket.

Disappointing that Keighran can't get a decent of block of footy together as last week he looked like a guy that needed some time in reserve grade to get some confidence back.

I really feel bad for Adam. He just can't catch a break.

Seriously whatever diet or supplements Keighran and Billy Smith are on... needs to stop. Now I am definitely on the bandwagon to sign TJ Perenara.
