Are you suggesting Benji is anywhere near the likes of Fittler, Thurston, Daley, Lockyer?

On his day, granted he is a weapon as far as creating attacking opportunities.

But the bottom line is, Benji is basically the same as Shaun Johnson. Creative, quick and exciting to watch when their play comes off....but ultimately inconsistent as fk and without any versatility on the defending side of things.

Yes I am suggesting that. Imagine if Benji had played for the Broncos in his prime, or the great Raiders side that Laurie Daley did. Good lord, he's in a different league to Shaun Johnson, even at 36.

Imagine this image or that image! You can’t rewrite history on what could have been. Marshall and to his credit chose to stay at the Tigers but it is what it is. There have been a few athletes in sports history that were so great that they have made average teams be champions. In league there was JT who took the Cowboys to a premiership and be competitive for many seasons. In football there was Maradona. In basketball there was Jordan who made unknown players into champions. Benji did that for one season but other than that there hasn’t been much. Freddy Fittler took us to 3 GFs, won once but he was also instrumental in Penrith winning their first premiership.

There are the Warren and Pride forums apparently. I could only inagine what places they would be like, but those such as Pride and Johnny's Sekret should spend their time and energy there. I am sick of hearing about them too - one betrayed us, and the other once used to be a good player that has been hanging on too long and is still overrated. I am not disappointed he didn't join us.
