I feel almost as bad for Hutch as I did the BMoz injury.

Such a careless/reckless act (at best) when he was scoring a try.

Feel like paying him a visit and saying we are thinkin of you bud.

      I feel for Hutch too.
Who gets the No 6 jumper Lammy or Keighran?

doesn't seem likely. once they drain the pleural cavity it's just a matter of getting over the busted ribs

NRL Physio says most cases of broken rib and punctured lung is 3-5 weeks normally, can extend to 6-8 in worst cases

So looks like it will be Lam at #6 for the next month, Hutch has made the jersey his own the last few rounds

Lam 6 and Adam K 14 is what I think will happen. I’d rather it be other way around though.

Was great to have a decent kicker on the field last night.

Lam I'd say mate. Keighrans strength is his utilty value and goalkicking. The bigger ? is who plays 7 if Sammy's out...hope he's right to go.

Yep it kinda got ignored because the game went south after his conversion. However had the ref not called a 'strip' against us, IMO it coulda proven to be a crucial conversion.

                      • Although I haven’t been a massive fan of Lam’s performances early in the season I’m hoping he and Walker will build a good combination, especially in attack!

Just thinking of both their styles with the ball in hand we may be surprised as to how well they complement eachother..

As for Adam Keighran, I would say bench utility for the moment.

Much has been spoken (here and in the media) on who could fill the #6 spot since Luke was finished for this year. Much of that conversation had Manu at 6 and SWalker at 7. The only reason I would like to see Manu at 6 from now on is so we can bring Joseph S at R Center, however having seen Manu last night in a half role after Hutch was taken out, I didn't see anything that was positive in that role. It probably wasn't the right time for him to be thrown into that position so I will wait to see the next time he's placed there to make a better informed opinion.

Don't think they will compliment each other at all, neither are organisers and one of them is going to have to make the sacrifice and step up to play that role.

You don't want Sam Walker having to worry about where the 5th play tackle will finish and his positioning on the 6th play to put in the most effective kick to transition into defence and hold the field ground battle. You just want him on the ballready to play what he sees with no other thoughts clouding his decision making.

I think.that sells Walker a bit short. He is an elite organiser/playmaker in the making, albeit with L plates at present. He never stops barking orders and pushing teammates into position even at his tender age. As the 7 its his job to worry about such things.

                              • Just my opinion but I would like to see Keighran start with SkyWalker and Lamb on the bench.
Keighran has the bigger body in defence and can kick goals, we get enough attack out of Walker.
This will be controversial but I think Walker is better than Keary, just wish we had them both.
