IMO it will attract players too. If you know that (for example) one club has a culture of playing you with injuries and concussion scares while another one does the exact opposite then go figure. I reckon most will take their welfare + longevity over an extra $50-100k.

He was knocked out from the head clash and he hurt his shoulder when he hit the ground because once your out you don't protect your fall. It was how Lindsay Collins hurt his ankle when JWH caught him with a stray elbow and knocked him. There's a human instinct to protect yourself when you fall but when your knocked out you just collapse and limbs go everywhere.

I don't believe he was knocked out. Just because his eyes were closed does not mean unconsciousness.
I have seen it with plenty of players that get a serious injury they know it and they lie there like that.

Now thats just my take on it.
