The 2 Sams...Verrills & Walker- both have unreal long passing games on both sides. The combination between the two can see the football cover some turf from one side of the field to the other in lightning speed. I dont expect too much too soon considering their ages and a total of about 25 games between them both....but theres some big potential

The great advantage verrills passing game from the ruck is that he can clear 4 defenders with one pass and hit a playmaker on the chest. With all due respect to Jake it was one aspect we were behind the likes of Cam Smith, Reed Mahoney Harry Grant and Cook.
Not only will Walker be able to open the field up but Radley can as well with his astute ball playing, both Crichton and sitilli have looked far more dangerous since Victor returned.

This bloke is overrated. Sam could pass better than this bloke after ten beers.

Two things I missed from watching the game live was that when in the second half, Walker did his long over the head pass and Rawalawa tried to intercept it, Hutch was quick onto that and just drove Rawalawa up causing hm to drop it, which is kudos to him, but from that knock on Walker comes around and just scoops with his right hand and passes the ball to JMoz in one move. The audacity of this kid.

if he drops it there's no advantage and we get a scrum feed but he's got such footy smarts to know when to take the low percentage options

Watched him play 3 years ago and prayed to my Greek God Zues that we sign him...
What vision and composure this kid has Definately the gifted one . We are lucky to have him and will win a few comps on his back .
only problem is he has a bung shoulder so wouldnt surprise me to see him rested soon.
Sammy Walker walks on water .

This kid has changed the way our club plays football, in a very good way. His skills, courage attitude and enthusiasm are infectious, and they have all caught it. Great times ahead.

This terrific player reminds me so much of Joey when he first came onto the scene. He has so much potential and he’s only going to get better.

I have said this in another thread but Walker playing this year and playing so well is going to cause issues with cap management.
We have a very strong team across the park and won't be able to keep them all.
I think Angus will be let go at the end of next year.
I was hoping we keep the Morris brothers for another year as they have been great value but last night ended that.

It will be interesting next year when Keary returns. We'll suddenly have two very dominant playmakers, each calling for the ball. I wonder how you manage that?

I'm struggling to think of one. Certainly not a halfback. Fittler was dynamic, but that was in the centres. Johns was good from day one, but was he this dominant? It's hard to remember. Alexander had an instant, huge impact but mostly in a team of triers, where it was easy to stand out.

No, this is unprecedented, I think.

He has an old head on young shoulders (from growing up in a family of ex players certainly has helped) and the way he barks orders to the senior player is highly amusing but effective. Not an inch of arrogance or smart arse about him at all. Just sheer positivity and raw talent. Ok my pizza is ready so I'm going to watch the game now.
