If we can manage to make anything from this season it sure would be one to be remembered.

And if any team had any chance of achieving something from here, we’d be one of the few who could.

Even if there is the slimmest chances, we are still in the fight until it’s over.

Just need to take it week by week and win as many as we can - I think we can still beat most - the ‘top 4’ will be a big challenge but we won’t be a pushover for them either and they may even pick up their own problems.

Get to finals, you never know what can happen - we still have the talent and coaches to do something special on our day. Walker is enough inspiration for the possibilities.

I’m an optimist chook fans - gotta have something to strive for and no way they are throwing in the towel easily.

No doubt huge challenge and very unlikely but there were some great signs today for a heartbreaking game - we have a lot of ability left and I think there is still a chance (again a slim chance) they can do something.

At worst we don’t make it but we have given great experience to some young guns to make them better for next year - but let’s see what they can do in the present.

Sorry can’t sleep haha mind is going a thousand miles per hour.

I’ve been a fan of “ Geronimo” Sitili since the u20s. He had a blinder last week and followed it up tonite.

After losing Friend & Keary for the season I think the Roosters season is over but then in comes Verrills & everyones favourite Sam Walker & things look good again & Im thinking is S Walker going to do a Leo Denever but then last night happens & it just takes all the wind out of my sail. Does this other whiz kid come in for BMoz & just like Sammy W play out of his skin or possibly Billy Smith comes in & kills it along with Fletcher Baker, I want to believe these guys are going to come in & shock everyone with how good they are but the old Mickie Lanes mind says it cant be done.
Ive really enjoyed this year & I think thats got to do with the new brigade, I dont expect the Chooks to win the comp but I feel there is some good footy to be seen this year by the Roosters.

I agree that he is unimpressive. He seems to lack the demeanor of a top coach.

Different nowadays one has to say with full time professionals who would receive the best training and development for when they may be needed in the NRL if not regular NRL players that is.

The question will be if they can produce for an extended period of time - sometimes you see replacement players start well and slowly decline in form over time due to the rigors of playing top grade week in week out- some may say they get found out as well as any weakness in their game will be exposed on the big stage.

Talent is secondary to whether players are confident.- Big Jack Gibson
