One thing is certain, beware the injured Chook.

Look what we have done so far, man we might be on our but we are way way far from out. Look at Souths (sorry) but their injury list is pretty bad. But they are not us.
These blokes will play for Robbo and I don't care where we finish I'm just so proud of this side and what they've done with so much shit chucked their way.

        I agree mate, well said.

I do not bet, but Melbourne looks good value to me.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

New halves learning the ropes, Sitili and Cordner missing, Rads and Verrills haven't played much footy, Marsche, Suaalii, Billy Smith, Fletcher-Baker, Fafita, etc. I don't think we will know where we stand until very late in the year.

yes and no. you knew the 2002 team was going to do alright when it played well and lost courageously in the early rounds cos of lots of injuries. if we defend well this friday and are competitive v a top 4 team then that's someting to build on. friday's game isn't crucial but it isn't meaningless either

Parra will be licking their lips and will underestimate us. If Teddy plays, we win. Chooks 1-12

Big game this week for us , I've got Panthers, Storm and bunnies as a lock for the top three so I think we're battling the eels for the other top 4 spot. It's a 4 point difference on the ladder depending on the result.

I think there's a good chance Penrith might be running their race a little early.

Parramatta, on the other hand, look to be timing their run much better than last year. They were my pick, pre-season, and I still think they'll win it if they stay healthy.

According the pundits they may as well stop the comp now as they say a Riffs vs Storm GF is a certainty

Penrith looked unbeatable until Manly showed you can score points against them, I feel if we played last week instead we would of beat them by a decent margin.

I still think it will be a Storm v Panthers grand final though with the Storm doing it for the coach with the talk this is his final season.

If I had to pick the Grand Final teams right now I would say Penrith and Melbourne, but if they suffer injuries to two or more key players like Munster, Papenhuzen, Fox or Harry for Melbourne, or Cleary, Luau, Fisher Harris or Kikau, then it's an open comp.

As stated, the price is only value if we are a legitimate winning chance.
                            I can’t see it.

Amazing efforts, we’ve known about Walker for two years but to see him perform at this level......sublime.

                            penrith look overs to me.
                            parra will be thereabouts
                            Canberra will regroup
Souths are experienced and have the coach
                            Melbourne have the best coach

Our chances are below these teams, so in my opinion we are unders due to our injuries.
                            barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

Penrith are the team to beat.

All it takes is one or two season ending injuries to a key player or two and they will come back to the field. Same with Souffs.
