Exactly right neither of which Matt Lodge or Fifita offer , or their clubs would be more desperate to keep them . Fifita in his day was a very good player and is now injury prone and lazy . lodge is suspect has other issues which would be why he is maybe being released. Similar to Josh McGuire grub that dragons just signed

Andrew Fifita is a park footballer now and even there he is a thug.
I can't see us with either Fifita or Lodge.
We have our own Fifita who is better and will improve with more game time imo and looks like all is forgiven for giving that love tap to that Souffs soft c0ck..

Robbo would be scared to start him off the bench or take him off at any time.

When the ponies were getting flogged last year and their forwards were running sideways, Lodge took up the JWH role of hitting it up the middle and trying to belt the opposition in defence. My only question with him would be his lateral movement in defence. I could see Robbo using him in a JWH role of limited time and maximum effort.

IMO their respective clubs trying to get rid of them has more to do with the money they are on, and new coaches looking beyond 2022. We would be signing them at less than half price with no expectation of keeping them beyond 2022.

                  Give the Young Ones a go -Props - Baker (21) , Suluka-Fifita (21) , Hau Tapuha (19 or 20) - Back rowers - E Butcher (20) , Whyte (18 or 19) - Backs-wing/centre Smith (21) Suaalii (17)

3 prop options - 2 Backrow options and 2 wing/centre options in the mix - the question will be how they perform and whether they will play extended periods of NRL or there will be some sort of rotation especially the 3 prop options. - 1 of these props will always be in the 17 each week at least- may not be the same one week in week out - depends on how they perform and handle the weekly grind of NRL.

They just have to do their job and play a role and don't have to play as someone else

Foxsports suggested that Andrew Fifita from the Sharks was being mentioned as a mid-season transfer.

                    • So who is the biggest dickhead? Lodge or Fifita. They are both word-class imo.

No, no and no! DSF and Baker are next in line, although another injury to a front rower could mean that we will need to go to market ...

Yep... hasn't Robbo confirmed we're chasing Perenara rather than a big dude anyway?

If we want a big dude who are reserve-grade and just need to find the right form/attitude then we have Baker, Fifita, Baby Butch & Whyte.

Difference? These guys aren't thugs and they're keen to work their way into our 1sts (plus buy into our culture). Attitude > form during a bygone era.

Only marginally better than Lindsay Collins, I think.
