We have to spend Cordner's $350k exemption on another forward? From that perspective it would not surprise me if we got Matt Lodge or Andrew Fifita.

Not sure if the NRL would question whether they are like-for-like as they are not second rowers..

Both of those guys would have attracted big money contracts at various points in their careers but I really hope we stay away from both of them. Andew Fifita is a jerk.

Robbo more interested in premierships. We are in desperate need of a pig. If we can get Broncos or Sharks to pay half (or a bit more) of their contract next year they would add value for money. I would only be concerned about Andrew being injury prone.

I agree we could do with a prop and both of those guys may have an upside. Still I would say Lodge and Fifita are more likely to end up in Long Bay or Silverwater than sign with the Roosters.

Robbo has proven he is not a win at any cost coach , hence the resting of Cords and others due to concussion for extended periods when the could have been playing .I suspect player welfare and moral code would be much more a consideration then simply winning premierships .That's what attracts the great players to our club .Values

I think Tuku Hau Tapuha may have been elevated from the development player list to the NRL squad as Cords salary cap rep injury replacement?. They would have to spend it when Cords is out and i assume if they haven't spent it they can't then spend it when Cords is back.

Naufahu Whyte is now listed in the NRL Squad on the Chooks site - 32 players all up listed
