Sam Verrills out for the Roosters with a partially detached retina in his eye. Complex injury with varied recovery time, can require surgical intervention. Average return to play time ~ 4 weeks, best case 2-3 weeks if no surgery but can extend out to 8 weeks in severe cases

Gee i would love to see Naufahu Whyte get that 2nd row spot ahead of Butcher. Big stocky hard runner simmilar to Sitilli and a better defender. Another young gun coming through. I know Robbo wont but would be great to see him in there somewhere.

- Sam Verrills is sporting a "semi-detached retina" in his eye. No time frame on recovery, obviously not available this week. Marschke at 9, Keighran on the bench. Teddy back, Suaalii in 21
We can't take a trick.

The last time we had the our best possible 17 on the park was last years game v Parra which was supposed to be our Home game but being played at Bankwest. From the time that Teddy got run over by Milka Sivo, our wheels started to fall. It could mean that this ends the bad luck we have had since then OR mean nothing at all and the status quo remains the same.

Otherwise I don’t think there will be any further changes (unless we have more surprise injuries - who knows this year) - I think Suaalii won’t be used until there is a further out in the backline OR Ikuvalu isn’t working out for whatever reason (very consistent back up player but probably lacks x-factor - I could see him being replaced with Suaalii if he misses some in game opportunities over a few games). Suaalii is the long term plan and has more potential but I think Robbo will go with the more experienced iku for now - until the change is needed.
