Whatever happens we have already won, just finishing 5th with a plethora of superstars gone means Robbo is coach of the year for mine. The young Roosters will be so much better next season and I believe we are seeing the makings of a juggernaut team. Our team for the finals will be strong and we have a sensational pack, we certainly have the team to beat the Titans, Manly and a Mitchell less vermin. All we need to do is improve our d, cut out silly errors and complete our sets, we generally improve when the finals start so here's hoping. EASTS TO WIN.

Penrith had a handful of players missing and got smoked by the tigers lol Parramatta are pretenders anyway, Manly played worse with just Tom Turbo missing than we did against Souths with 12 missing plus injuries on the night. Souths had Reynolds and Latrell missing and got beat 50-0 and when they returned still got pumped 56-10 or whatever it was.
If we were at full strength we’d win the comp.

If we can just get our D right and cutting out the errors and just get through to completing the sets, I think we'll go a long way. But nonetheless, regardless of what happens this year, we will be bolstered next year with a bunch of young guns who had the opportunity to get game time this year. Next year they'll only get more confident with some of other boys returning.

The Titans have beaten literally nobody.
If we play Manly in week 2 I think we have their measure. Storm maybe not so much.
I also think we can beat Penrith or Souths in a prelim.
Then as much as I would be rapped making a GF, you can't walk away with a loss and not feel gutted.
But it has been a super year with all the young guns coming through and punching well above their weight.
If the injury jinx is over next year we'll be back to the glory days (touch wood).

Might sound shit but really not dissing anybody but we have some true budget players and they've stood up. What a bloody culture this place has !!!!!
Guys like Hutch I think on 120k , Marschke, Thomas and future superstar Egan Butcher. We can be well proud of the boys and don't know if you took a Cordiner, Bmoz, Friend or Keary out of another team if they'd even come close to 5th.
