Honestly we have a chance to go all the way. We get a few players back this week.
Our pack can match it with the best of them really only missing Collins, I know people will say what about Friend and Cords but they are not back next year so what we have is basically the same pack as next year, also we lose Iceman next year so that cancels out Collins.
Next year we get Keary, Manu, and two great young players to replace the Morris twins.
The BS suspensions to Angus and Victor have really hurt this year. We copped some soft MRC fines at the beginning of the year and then the loading killed us.
I can't remember the last time we had Victor and Angus playing together, lets see what a difference they make this week.
Really looking forward to the finals, just wish we were on the same side of the draw as Souths, to knock them out would have made my year!

I like your post however I disagree by saying that we have already won by finishing 5th. I think our coach would be aiming for a deep finish in the playoffs and probably a GF appearance . He sets and expects the highest possible results.
And if he makes the GF he will not want to be there , just making up the numbers.
Remember his record is 3 GF appearances : 3 Successes.
He will pull out all stops to win it , and believe that he can., no matter which side he is up against
I do not think he will view the result as being a success , by simply making the Grand Final .

I'd just like to add that my predictions are generally spot on.
My 2021 ladder prediction from all the way back in November last year:
Positives? Teddy, Keary, Manu, Toupo, Gus, SST and Radley are all top 3 in the comp in their respective positions, and there is no reason to expect they will have a bad year.
My ladder for 2021:
Panthers
Rabbitohs
Melbourne
Raiders
Roosters
Sea Eagles
Eels
Titans
Cowboys
Knights
Broncos
Warriors
Sharks
Dragons
Bulldogs
Tigers

Just had a bit on us to win the GF at 40 to 1 Sportsbet, plus a bit on the grandfinalists.... Us v Manly paying 200 to 1, and Us v Parra paying 400 to 1, also a multi on Us 13+ over the Titans with Iku, Sitili and Keighran to score paying 30 to 1.
I
I am with you Norfolk.
I have backed us to win the comp at 51 to 1 , and 41 to 1 on sportsbet, because those odds are too good to refuse.
IMO the Roosters are only an outside chance to take out the comp (wearing my Rooster coloured glasses I reckon we are about 5 to 1 chances, so still roughies) .
Nothing would be sweeter than winning the most unlikeliest of premierships, and to top it off , for me to show a healthy bank account balance.
Mickie Lane could also change his avatar, to show a crowing rooster on top of that casket, representing the Roosters resurrection from the dead.
I dare to dream.

Trent is still carrying that man of steel persona we all admire and respect, so that's good enough for me. The new season and new competition starts next weekend. As far as I'm concerned, it's game on.
Besides, my Brisbane Lions tip turned out to be garbage so I'm sticking to NRL and horses from now on..
