We haven't had a decent centre since Hodges. If he's as good as Harris or Cleal I might have to reevaluate this team.
He has the running game and the fend, and his errors are low although he did make a couple yesterday, probably nerves. I idolised Harris and Cleal as a school kid, and if he's half as good then we have something special.
Again its early days and the proof will be if he can back it up week in and out.
Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.

I'll be happy to finally have a player who can regularly break the line.
hope he's as good as wat I'm reading... cnt wait 2 see if he wil make an impact round1 against souths.
skdss gota step it up. hope he doesn't turn into another overpaid underperforming rooster. only time wil tell I guess
Can't remember him making any errors yesterday. And I would not be worried about his size at all. He is more than quick enough at 106kg, skirted around Lett with ease and can still motor while he's fending off players coming from behind. There's a big difference between being a big back and being an overweight back. Fat is essentially useless mass when running, muscle is certainly not useless mass.
I just hope he keeps his speed and agility. Otherwise he will struggle in defence with the quicker centres beating him with footwork. We need a quick, explosive centre - not another wide running backrower.
Even Inglis was not as effective last year (when he was on the field) when he was carrying too much weight.
He was absolutely brutal. From his first ball receive he was throwing defenders off him in all directions, on the second receive he ran about 30 metres sideways then another 20 metres forwards. Later on Made a linebreak and try-assist. This kid is unreal. Good defensive reads too.
Forgot to add, he constantly reminds teammates to stay onside and get back on the 10. Very good communication. I could see him pointing to offside teammates and screaming.
As I said in a previous thread following a comment that he may not be up for the mans game: "He will be a moutain among men & Souths are in for a shock"
Do we think he will start in the centres? Wouldn't surprise me to see him on the wing until he picks up the pace of first grade. Might be wise to have him as a pure finisher to start with.
