Good, as much as I love state of origin, I’m really hoping none of our players get picked.
With this injury toll, can we even field a side if Radley, Chrichton, Tedesco & Toops get picked.
I know Robbo would never do it, but if I was uncle nick I’m very quietly calling Freddy & asking him not to pick any Roosters this year.

Disappointed for him just because I know how much it means to him, but don't think he was ever expected to/was going to play Origin this year. Absolutely the correct call.

Just in regards to Origin though; what team are we going to field? I'd say Crichton and Tedesco are absolute certainties, and I think Radley is borderline a shoe-in as well. If we're really unlucky/if one of the wingers goes down, Tupou might get the call-up as well.

I'm guessing we'd be looking something like:

I don't think he's due back by them but don't quote me.
With the effort they've shown over the past few games, I agree that they'll still beat most teams.
I wondered if the whole "culture" thing clubs preach about was BS, and maybe just the teams with the best players win. I'm convinced now though that there is a deeply rooted culture of effort and pride at the Chooks.

I think they'll go fo Oh-oh. He makes a lot of ground with the ball, but is a lottery under a high ball.

Toops should be first winger chosen. There is a reason he won the player pole for best winger last year.

I mean, if I was choosing the NSW side I'd pick Tupou. I think they'll go Turbo and Addo-Carr though. I'll be quite surprised if Toops is selected.

Good to hear that we don't play without them, but at the same time I also think they'll likely need a rest. It's a tough spot because we can ill-afford to rest them, but if we run them into the ground post-Origin, then we'd really be in a hole.
