Interesting media conference with Fitzy on NRL tonight tonight. He was talking like he was at the Sharks now.
He was wearing Roosters gear but talking only about the Sharks and losing HIS halfback to the Cowboys. His disappointment at losing Adam Reynolds. He didn’t rule out pinching some of our players when asked. Seriously though he was talking as if he was the coach there now. I don’t know, I didn’t like it. It felt wrong. He’s still employed at the Roosters. His focus this year should be on the Roosters.Not the Sharks.

a long interview on the nrl site.

when the club let him go they would have known that he had to make plans for next year so nothing surprising here. he made it clear that he wouldn't get any players to break their contracts with us.
sharks aren't a threat to us this year so who cares. no doubt fitzy still adds value to the 2021 roosters

Wow, didn't take long for you guys to turn on someone who's been at your club for 20 years.

It's pretty naive to think he wouldn't be planning for next year. Robbo actually came out and said he knows he'll be doing that. I dare say Robbo would be dissapointed if he wasn't putting everything into his first stint at being a HC.

No one should be thinking he'd be putting any less effort or time into the Roosters this year. He does the Sharks stuff after hours and probably when he's driving the 2 hours he does daily. And you honestly don't think he would have told Robbo and co he was having that presser during the day. Of course he did.

As a Sharks fan I was impressed by what I heard, speaks really well. Shame the media kept interrupting him with their typical dirtbag questions.

In fact, most of us can't stand the Sharks but we will be wanting them to succeed next season.
