NRL should forget about tries and goals. Refs already had so much influence on the outcome of games. May as well let the refs decide the scoreline based on sin bins, penalties, and restarts.

V'landys should f*ck off to BBL.

The broncos have about 6 on report (exaggerating) so how many are we gonna have on report tomorrow? The judiciary will probably take 2 weeks to get through all of these so we may have less to field next week against the broncs

How about we make up 2 teams comprised entirely of referees and they can play against each other. That’s clearly what PVL would rather we watch.

It’s so entertaining watching these 50 point blow outs.

Has a sport seen so many changes in one season let alone in the first 10 rounds? Shame on PVL, co and the referees for basically buckling due to their own incompetence.

I watched both games - saw a few solid direct cracks to the jaw get binned - which they said would happen - and a head butt - I know they're a week late, but we could do without those kind of acts. Not sure what everyone's so upset about.

Not required when you have fools like PVL ruining the game from the inside. Not qualified to run the game.

Personally I'm not gonna whinge about Vlandy but today I felt that the refs were just overreacting about anything near the head and off...If TKOs head high which was due to the arm bouncing of the ball then going to the head, he would have been sent to the bin. Even an accident like that is no excuse and to me that's not right. 2 Broncos players got bin within minutes, one for that head butt and the other for ill discipline...Perhaps an ill discipline act should just be something like a 10 m penalty, but not a sin bin.

The media already whinging about the sin bins so expect this to be wound down a bit in a few weeks.

These rule changes are a direct reaction to what has happened to us in the last few rounds - Robbo addressed to the NRL that teams have no advantage when they take out players and get suspended later - that there needed to be in game consequences

our game last week should have had 2 sin bins for dangerous play which everyone agreed with

this week is an overreaction by the refs but with the reaction of the fans it will be temporary - it’s just a statement saying that they won’t accept people being reckless and taking out players mid game. They had to do something - our team is an example of how we can’t afford to lose any more key players due to the oppositions’ foul play where we see no benefit

yes it should only be for serious shots/infringements but again I think they are making a statement players are getting to comfortable with cheap shots frequently in games

and yes in a sick turn of events our team will probably be punished with sin bins tomorrow night despite being victims previously

I also think some of the sin bins were blown out of proportion tonight which made reactions worse - riki’s was a sin bin any week, Mbyes sin bin was on the last second and deserved it for stupid play, and the two manly sin bins happened in the last minute also due to stupid play. Still a lot of sin bins but the number makes it seem a lot worse than it was
