We can outmuscle their pack and the class of Walker and our backs should be too good for them. They are yet to challenge a decent opponent this season. Let’s not be complacent but we should be crowing at 930 tonight.

Basically Easts v Taumalolo and a bunch of dudes who have seen better days.

Scott Drinkwater, Jordan McLean, Valentine Holmes, Kyle Feldt and Coen Hess are all formidable opponents when they find their mojo so I won't completely write them off (when's Drinkwater up for grabs again? I remember him being a gun a few years back... Jake Granville on that bench too). However, I'd be disappointed if they did a job on us. The bookies agree...

Don't wanna jinx them for injuries but if I were a Cows fan I'd be fuming about the 6-again shyte, send-offs and dodgy turf this weekend. Looking at their reserves, if Taumalolo went down with an ACL then it would be the shytest thing ever. Management really do need to think about making rules that preserve gun players coz some teams really can't afford to have a top-shelf player out for 12 months.

I don't think it's a joke, I'm sick of seeing players hit around the head. No need for it, and it's the only way to enforce it that coaches will react to. If they know they are going to lose every player who hits an opponent in the head for at least 10 minutes, they will stop it. I also would love to see them use the same criteria to penalise ANY LATE forceful contact either ona kicker or a player who has passed the ball. It's a tough game, but it's a game of skill, not a game for thugs.

PVL has turned game into a joke. Do you really want to see a game with 4 sun bins and over 20 penalties/infringements? There is something fundamentally wrong with the way the game is being run when the response to last week’s cheap shots on roosters players is to ‘clamp down’ for a week. The irony is that we will probably be penalized more than the average when the reason for what is happening this weekend was because of indiscretions against us. PVL has to go.
