Why is Brisbane a ****hole? It's clean, easy to get around, has great galleries, live music, fancy hotels that were never there when I was growing up like the Ovolo, great restaurants with lots of fresh food, shopping and sport, close to the mountains, beaches and country towns with great pubs like the one I grew up in (the town not the pub, although there was one right next door to us ). The people are friendly and not stressed out and grumpy like down here in Sydney.

Here here. We were blown away by how good BNE was. Electric scootering all over the place, went to the modern art gallery, had a fancy meal over the river, got the train to the stadium, mixing with all of the fans. A great weekend and there’s no bloody way Sydney could have pulled something like this off.

In the last two weeks I’ve been to BankWest and Suncorp. Such an eye opening experience to watch footy at these incredible grounds, having been trudging to the SCG for 2 years.

Yes agree other than Sydney's great harbour and the Roosters Brisbane is so much easier to get around , great public transport, friendly and a real country town feel about it . Couldn't live in any city myself but Brisbane's not bad for a visit
