  • Roosters Matches in Top 100 Games of all Time!

    Today's Rugby League Week is another special edition this time focusing on the Top 100 matches of all time as judged by David Middleton. It includes pre-season, mid week, club, City/Country, Origin and test matches. They are not ranked in order but instead are listed chronologically.

    Here's a list of the ones we feature in:

    1921 Round 5: Norths 8 Easts 8 @ SCG

    1931 Grand Final: Souths 12 Easts 7 @ SSG

    1935 Semi Final: Easts 15 Wests 10 @ SCG

    1941 Premiership Final: St.George 31 Easts 14 @ SCG

    1970 Round 12: Easts 37 St.George 23 @ SCG

    1974 Round 6: Easts 15 Manly 10 @ SCG

    1975 Grand Final: Easts 38 St.George 0 @ SCG

    1977 Amco Cup Final: Wests 6 Easts 5 @ Leichhardt Oval

    2000 Preliminary Final: Roosters 26 Newcastle 20 @ SFS

    2003 Grand Final: Penrith 18 Roosters 6 @ Telstra Stadium

      No they weren't ranked in any order. They listed them in RLW chronoligically too.

                        The 11-8 win over the Dragqueens on one Anzac day game (2004) was one of the best games of League I've seen.

                        I agree with Pipeline, Middleton is guessing.

                          1. 2010 QF v Wests Tigers
                          2. 2000 GFQ v Knights
                          3. 2004 11-8 Anzac day game
