I love driving past that mural - always lifts my mood.

The last home game I went to was against the Bulldogs at the SFS in 2008. This game just happened to be the debut game of a young up and coming hooker by the name of J Friend. Didn't know much about him back then other than he came from Qld and had played Aussie schoolboys. I remember getting an autograph off him that night and he looked a bit stunned. I'm really happy that I will be there on Saturday to farewell the little champion. Thanks for everything you did for us fans over the years Jake

My hairdresser is not far from there so I walk past there every time I go up that way. 7 minutes walk to the mural from his salon as he likes to remind me Heading up there that way this Saturday actually as I like to donate to the big Vinnies at Charing Cross and need to go to Services NSW on Ebley St afterwards so I'll go back around that way and get some more photos to go with the ones I already have. I've uploaded them to Apple Photos along with all my other Roosters ones and you can choose a 'vintage' option as a slide show with a sepia background and appropriate music. It's a shame I can't share it with everyone on here.
