You can't blame the officials for that loss or say their is some conspiracy against the Chooks or Uncle Nick - that was poor with a capital P - no other way to describe that performance. Not sure what the prep was like but obviously it wasn't good enough.
Teams that have 50 put on them do usually come back the next week with a strong effort and if you don't respect them as you would a higher rank team then these are the results that occur. - 16-14 first half and 18 to 2 in the second half for a 34-16 loss.
Not sure who made the call to kick for penalty goal when down 28-14 with 6 to go to make it 28-16 and thinking in the last 5 minutes they could score 2 converted tries to level the game when for the proceeding 34 minutes in the second half they didn't look like scoring.
This is a very costly loss and a win would have put them 6 points clear of 6th place -sure there are some games to play - should have been looking at 9 and 3 at the half way point - now 8 and 4 is a must - 7 and 5 and they will be under the pump to make the 8 with a harder second half of the draw to navigate.
Not good enough

I am as disappointed as anyone, especially since I have to go to a golf club on Monday which is loaded with Drongos fans, they will give it to me big time. But the carry on here is disgusting. The Drongos had 3 forward passes ignored to give them tries, we were down to 12 men for 20 minutes, they had every bounce of the ball. I thought there was plenty of effort from our guys. Walker was under extreme pressure, and gave away 2 tries trying to create something. The bagging of Iku and Lam is uncalled for, Iku especially played very well in my opinion. It was just one of those games where everything went against us. The scoreline flattered the Drongos. If not for the missed forward passes we probably would have won. I have been a supporter of the crackdown on head highs, but there has to be some common sense in the application of the rules as well. The last report on Victor for the tackle on Coats was ludicrous, as well as the hit on Pangai, minimul accidental contact there. I think Victor might get 3 weeks, and Manu a week or a fine.

We never really turned up. From the kick off, their forwards got to ours - even got on top of ours.
They snagged a couple of tries and our lack of strike, probably the inexperience of our spine, really showed. We struggled to mount a strong come back.
Rads - with the exception of the high shot on Pangai - we'll challenge all of them. I actually thought he didn't even make contact with Kelly's head.
Chriton knocks on when we were on the attack. Toupo is missing from his wing when Sualli makes a break.
Pretty poor.

This game had the potential to be a cracker of a game. Both teams started with such aggression and passion, two things that you used to look forward to in a league match. If this game was played 30 or 40 years ago we would probably still be occasionally talking about it in this day and age. It is the parking inspectors and the school prefects that put an end to that. Head Injuries? Indeed, they are a potentially life changing incident, but the players choose to play and be paid, regardless. If we carry on being all so touchy feely and sanctimonious in regard to head injuries, we will end up banning sex, because it leads to birth and then death. Should we also ban the police and the defence force? Victor Radley is the type of guy that I would love to have alongside me in the trenches. He may make some rash decisions, but I would be absolutely confident that he would give his all in the fight. We need more Radleys in the game and less boys patting their heads, saying "Mummy, mummy, little Johnny pushed me over".
I am not making excuses for our performance in this match. I am strictly responding to the farcical introduction and implementation of the sin bin season.

That’s the second game this year where there has been a lot of emotion around the game and we just haven’t handled it well. Not sure if you can put it down to a lack of leadership but we played too emotional and it bled into the performance, we were all over the place and only really settled in the back half of the first half. The officiating seemed to be a pile on to top it all off, very messy tonight.
But we move on, this team is going to have some hard losses and learn some hard lessons given the inexperience and talent sitting on the sidelines.

No excuses can cover such an underwhelming and disappointing performance.

No sin binning for repeated 6 agains. Compared to last week when Cummings warned us after 2, then we opened up the ruck to allow the cows to score twice.
Crackdowns my ass, they'll continue to work their interpretations in our disfavour. That butcher forward pass try was identical to theirs. Allowed. I for one can't expect the guys to get into top gear when they know the rort is on, you should've seen topous face at one stage.
But geez we played right into it starting with jareds foolishness on lodge.
Have the real talk with them robbo, I'm sure he already did on the way to b2b.

He's developed into a fearsome dominator of the middle third and we aren't the same without him.
Their replacements are doing a job but not of the same caliber.
And SST. He looks hurt man, I wonder if we had more troops wether he would be playing at all.
