The boys put in a shocker tonight we were ill disciplined from the get go and put ourselves under pressure with mistakes and silly penalties. The ref didn't help our cause and that female touch judge is too scared to call forward passes and is stealing a living.
So many times we start poorly by giving the ref the chance to ping us for ridiculous over the top 6 again infringements and then have to play catch up. Referee Gough gave the Broncos far too much latitude in laying all over us in the ruck and we played slow poor football in attack.
Lam seems to hesitate and I think we looked better with hutch in the side.
Thought the kid went well on his debut and will be better suited on the right side of the field where he can use that big right foot step, I thought Toops should have been up with him and we would have scored.
Looks like Radley and possibly Manu will be in trouble with possible suspensions.
Horrible night and we have to move on to next week against the Raiders.

The loss means nothing in the sense that we won't finish top 4 anyway and won't miss the 8 and can't win the comp. So result changes little if I'm being negative but realistic.
Losing Victor for 6-8 weeks is the worst part.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Walker will learn from that intercepted pass...hopefully.
Don't want to get sin binned and suspended?
Don't hit players in the head...simple...
no degree from Harvard needed for this either.
I can't see how Radley's first sin binning tackle was around the head.
...or even a shoulder charge.

I was at the game.
Sometimes teams have these nights, everything goes against you on refs calls and the opposition get all the luck, and ref decisions.
It was one that we were destined to lose.
Controversial forward pass calls against us (and missed forward passes when Broncs scored)
All the decisions in general play going to the Broncs.
Plenty of pissed off Roosters supporters at the game, going off at the ref.
Rads off for 20 minutes.
When he's there , he doesn't cool down - instead he gets emotional and revved up.
Then he gets penalised for tackling Coates "too hard"in a perfectly legitimate tackle.
I thought his shot on Tevita Pangai earlier was legitimate as well.
He will probably end up with some stupid grade one charge - let's just wait and see.
Broncos were offside all night but ref did nothing about it.
On the positive side , Sitili and Angus were beasts when running the ball.
I thought Suaalii looked good too when he got the ball - remember he's only 17.
At 14-10 , we had control of this game, but we f*#Ked it up.
Just one game that we need to forget , and move on.

Exactly right, good assessment roostermcgregor.
I was at the game too. I am so looking forward to getting back to the SFS!MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

No sin binning for repeated 6 agains. Compared to last week when Cummings warned us after 2, then we opened up the ruck to allow the cows to score twice.
Crackdowns my ass, they'll continue to work their interpretations in our disfavour. That butcher forward pass try was identical to theirs. Allowed. I for one can't expect the guys to get into top gear when they know the rort is on, you should've seen topous face at one stage.
But geez we played right into it starting with jareds foolishness on lodge.
Have the real talk with them robbo, I'm sure he already did on the way to b2b.
