Really disappointed after last night. Every game the team turns out one of three different performances.
1. A great performance is one where either the opposition is kept to less than 2 tries or the boys put on 5+ of their own to win comfortably.
2. The good performance is where boys either win or lose a close one.
3. A poor performance. Last night
As much as I hate the drizzle one thing that they ensure (no matter which 17 take the field) is that the difference between a good performance and their worst performance is small. Hence why they rarely get smashed. On the flip side their losses are normally by a small margin, and they are more likely to be the ones putting on 5+ tries when they have a great night.
I love our attitude of "next man up" it has been working for players like Walker, Iku and Baker this season. In addition to this I feel that the team as a whole would benefit from trying to close the gap between what is an off night and a good peformance.
