  • When is Hutch Back?

Not that Hutch is better than Walker but at least it he offers some scoring opportunities on the left cause tonight there was ZERO! Walker can't do everything by himself. We miss Luke but would take Hutch in a heart beat.

    You have lost the plot.

Hutch doesn’t exactly offer much in attack. He’s a big body who’s there to make his tackles and to kick so Walker doesn’t have to do everything.

Shouldn't you be taking out your white flag, again?

Not sure Hutchinson does much to help tonight, even Keary would’ve struggled. We played most of that game in our own half.

He has a couple of tries and some assists plus some good defence.

My point being that Walker isn't getting much help from his 5/8 on the left. And I'm sure you're not going to say that he's coming back from an injury.

I’m very disappointed with our game tonight. I don’t think we are any chance of winning the comp so the white flag is out. But I think we will go to week two or three of the finals and we will win the thing next season.

Round 16 or 17 for Hutch - I think Walker needs some structure to his game as sorry but that pass was not on. - maybe a rest and re-set - Lam Half and Manu or Keighran 5/8 - Suaalii plays right centre

So why have I lost the plot? My point was trying to say that Lam was nowhere... the only time he decides to run, he loses the ball. Well he got a soft penalty for a face rub. At least you know Hutch is playing cause he gets involved in attack and defence.

You have lost the plot because you want Hutch in the side for his attack.

He offers more than Lam..unless you can convince me that I'm wrong...and start with how many tries he's scored this season, or any season and how many metres he made tonight...then go and check Hutch stats this season.

Lam was terrible, got caught in possession way too often and both halves got trying to create points before they had earned the right too.

The one thing I liked about Lam last week is he wasnt just the "5/8 on the left" he plays both sides of the ruck so I'm not going to write him off after a bad game today because I don't think the difference between him and Hitchinson is what you're making it out to be.

I agree with you Roc, what Hutch does that the other 5/8 doesn’t is play direct and run to the line. Sometimes he will pass just before he hits the defensive line, occasionally he will just take the tackle. He doesn’t have much finesse but engages the defence. When the 5/8 can’t do anything other than catch and pass, Walker is going to be under too much pressure.

If you look at the stats below you can see where they lost the match - poor set completions/errors and poor discipline - second half was very poor 53% set completion / 40% possession / 9 errors - 5 tackles in opposition 20. - 3 kicks for 77 metres - you can see where the game was played in the second half - majority in the Chooks half.

These stats have been poor most of the season and needs to be addressed
