I can say with a high degree of certainty, that if Jared is not moved to his prefered and most suited position soon, we WILL lose him to someone.

He does not wish to play out his career as a battering ram, and he does want to use his considerable ball skills which are being wasted in the front row.

We may not lose him this time around to Parra, but then again money talks, he is still a kid in the terms of a second rower and if offered enough cash and the chance to play where he would love to on the field there is a very real chance he could go.

I hope they wrap him up rather quickly and either decide on whether Dunny Billis coming or not so we can get on with it...I hate all the speculation that occurs around contract negotiations....

Problem is I can't see him moving there any time soon, Cordner will wrap up a position very soon and Maubs is one of the first on the team sheet. FPN isn't going anywhere any time soon, that's a reality and both Guerra and Symonds are strong options if they can fix up their defence.

I'd love to see him in the second row, he's got great potential but he's really got to lift his workrate in attack in my opinion if he wants to get a shot.
