    RIP Bozo
I know he is Manly but I still consider him part of our club.

Bad form the NRL can't get his age right, he was 73

great player. obviously had a magnificent career with the eagles but did good things for us too. unlucky not to win a premiership as a coach in the years that he had with us

Artie was the greatest forward to play the game and Bozo was the greatest back. I’ve been around long enough to watch both play and if I had to pick only one I would pick Bozo. The things he did on the field were brilliant, masterful, freakish. Even though I was always an Easts supporter, I was a big fan of Bozo. Incredible to watch. Had so many facets to his game. Rugby League has lost a giant of the game.

Good to see Manly put a unexpected win in for him.
pity west couldn’t do the same for Tommy.

And so ends the life of perhaps the most potent attacking weapon the rugby league world has seen, or is likely to see again.
Fulton was an opportunist, and individualist that would often receive the ball flat footed, but then with amazing acceleration , a jink, and upper body strength would leave opposition defences in tatters.
Its almost as if Fulton had spiders all over him, in nearly every game he played at his peak.
I rate 2 players at the top - one was Fulton, the other Brett Kenny, whose vast array of attacking weapons was complemented by the fact that he was also an incredible team player.

Invented the cheat and milking penalties too...and cost Maloney a deserved CC medal

Last week I was watching on You Tube an Amco Cup game between St George and Easts in 1978. Bozos talent was evident there and put up some nice bombs for Fairy to catch. Other players in our squad were Schubert, Horrie, K Steven, Bob O'Reilly, B Mullins. Coach and but Not playing was Artie. Commentators were everyone favourite Rabbs, with K Barnes and a young kid called Frank Hyde.

I will say though, if everyone whinges about how many drop balls we make today, when you look at this game you'll wonder how fans and coaches didn't end up pulling all of their hair after this one.

I'll put the link here if anyone wants to reminisce.

Great player and coach but I always remember him chipping ahead and flopping on the ground looking for a penalty and I never forgave him for ripping the guts out of our team.
