I'm not gonna blame the refs, the new rules or any other external factors for what I saw last night. It was a fukking disgrace. Really disappointed that the boys couldn't lift against p!ss poor opposition for Jake.
Hope we learned something from it. They basically had Lodge, TPJ and Haas running at Walker all night, ducking in tackles to get 'high contact' and throwing their arms up to claim they'd copped it in the chin...etc. It was a simple tactic and we just s*cked. Then the fans all nicked off before full-time, leaving Jake with nothing. My mate who's a Dragons fan (but Robbo's ex-neighbour and a friend of his mum) took my tickets and stayed around to celebrate Jake's achievement. Sigh. Sad on so many levels.
