Was good to see him at the game yesterday, looked happy and in jovial spirits.

As much as we desperately need him on the field I’m hoping first and foremost it’s a sign the surgery on the eye went well, would be such a scary moment for a young guy.

Nothing but family members (mostly oldies but some youngsters) have had semi-detached retinas. I think it's literally just a random occurrence and it takes time to heal.

My understanding is that you're 'fine' right after surgery but probably don't wanna be playing footy right away. Not claiming to be a doctor or anything but my understanding is that it's one of those things that just takes time.

I'll tell you what; he's a massive part of our team. He'll add a lot if we get him back this year, so fingers crossed.

Yeah this hooker we have now is really hard to watch. Gives his all which I totally respect especially when he's like the 4th string hooker but we desperately need Verills asap
