I've always hated Manly, and Bozo after what he did to us in the early eighties. I have to say though, their performance today is exactly how you honour a club legend. It's gonna take me a while to get over the shit that was served up to Jake last night.

Manly played no different today than they have since Turbo came back. It is amazing how much one guy can change a team.
Parra have been pretenders for the last two years and only leg ups from refs have kept them in the top for in that time.
We played bad. We have that in us every year even the years we won the GFs. We copped some shocking calls for sin bins and forward passes (ours and theirs).
We had 7 guys out of our best 17 and a few guys in the team who have played a handful of NRL games.
To suggest that the guys didn't put in for Friendy is sheer stupidity.
The emotion of the day clearly got to some of the guys. Unfortunately it just wasn't our night.
I'm sure they all had a gatorade or two with Jake after the game.

But I also don't get the emotion of Jakes presentation. He's not dead. It's supposed to be a celebration of jakes career not a war. The attitude from the get go was crap. The Broncos were the ones that were supposed to to try and and bash us being that they are desperate, but no Jared starts it and Rads takes over and completely goes OTT, and this is where the captain comes in, but as much as we ALL love Teddy, he doesn't instil much authority there. A strong captain, say like Cam Smith, would have just looked at Jared or Rads and with one look he would have told them to pull their heads in. There aren't that many Cam Smiths going around but we cannot have players not being reigned in when their out of control.

Hopefully Cordner will be captain for the rest of the year after this week.
I would have Crichton as his co when he is having a break.
Teddy seems too much of a nice guy to bring someone like JWH or Rads into line.
